Where It’s Going and How to Get There
March 24, 2022
11:00am – 5:00pm EST
Ransomware. Supply chain vulnerabilities. Critical infrastructure attacks.

Every day, enterprises are faced with a new round of online exploits that they’ve never seen before – and wondering if their current technology defenses are enough. At the same time, cybersecurity technology vendors are regularly rolling out new products and services. How can your security team keep up? What are the latest emerging security technology and services that can help you? What are the latest emerging tools and technologies for detecting ransomware and mitigating it before it spreads?

These are just some of the issues that will be explored in this free, all-day online conference produced by the editors at Dark Reading. Top security experts and researchers will discuss ways to identify the emerging technologies that can improve your cyber defense – and offer tips on the best path for implementing them.

In this keynote address, an experienced security practitioner offers insights on how to integrate emerging technologies into an existing IT environment to maximize the effectiveness of both old and new.
Panel 1

Securing and Monitoring the Ever-Evolving Endpoint

Sponsored by: Okta
Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, enterprises were struggling to secure a wide variety of endpoint and user-owned mobile devices. Now, as work-from-home and hybrid working environments abound, IT managers are forced to rethink their endpoint security strategies on an enterprise scale. In this panel discussion, experts offer advice and recommendations on how to build endpoint security strategy that works across a wide range of systems in both home and office environments.
Panel 2

Security Operations: The Next Generation

Sponsored by: Palo Alto Networks, CYREBRO
Today’s security operations center (SOC) is evolving and changing at a rapid pace. While many SOCs are adding new capabilities such as threat hunting, new tools such as orchestration and eXtendedDetection and Response (XDR) are changing the way security teams collect and analyze threat data. In this panel discussion, top experts discuss the new tools and practices that are being added to the SOC, and how enterprises can use these tools and practices to improve enterprise data security.
Panel 3

Evaluating and Implementing Security in the Cloud

Sponsored by: Menlo Security, Vulcan Cyber
For many enterprises, the rapid move to work-from-home computing and digital business models caused a rapid move toward cloud-based applications and services. At the same time, however, there has been a growing number of data breaches perpetrated through vulnerabilities in cloud services and technology. How can enterprises swiftly expand their use of cloud technology without exposing themselves to new vulnerabilities? What role will SASE play in securing cloud-oriented IT environments? In this panel discussion, experts offer a look at emerging cloud security technology, as well as emerging threats that target cloud environments.
