Brought to you by:
Seamless Network Integration for Your Business

The Connectivity for IoT Digital Symposium is a two-day online event focusing on IoT opportunities across connectivity technologies, ranging from 5G, LPWAN, Wi-Fi and Satellite to Private Networks/LTE.

This event will tackle key issues of how to scale bandwidth, leverage the best fitting connectivity options for the enterprise, and gain cost benefits to achieve ubiquitous connectivity with IoT across vertical industries. The digital symposium will bring in experts and leaders in the space to help navigate your way to finding the right connectivity partner, access case studies and lessons learned, and network with these pioneers to revolutionize the connected future.

In this Virtual Event, we will address:
Event Agenda
Track 1 – Opening Keynotes
Connectivity as the Foundation For IoT
Chairperson’s Opening Remarks
Presented by: Chris Pearson, President, 5G Americas

Connectivity and digital equity during COVID-19

Presented by: Jerry Driessen, Assistant Chief Information Officer/Chief Technology Officer, & Dolan Beckel, Director, Civic Innovation and Digital Strategy, City of San José

Track 2
Private Networks & LTE
Exploring IIoT/Industry 4.0 Services After Mitigating Critical Communications to the Private LTE Network
Presented by: Christian Regnier, Air France KLM, Enterprise Technical Architect
One of the first company tested the Private LTE networks for its critical and operational communications. After this first convergence between data and voice for the operationnal teams, what’s more easier than to focus on IOT? What is the timeline of this? What about 5G services? What is the real gain for Air France to deploy private networks for all teams? What about the other airports where there isn’t any private networks?
Speaker Q&A
Track 3
Setting the Reality with 5G – Where are We Now?
5G Unlocking Industry 4.0: Boosting Manufacturing Operations and Improving Automation on the Connected Factory Floor
Wireless technology considerations for IoT project success
Presented by: Taylor Wolfe

Key takeaways:

  1. Understand the pros and cons of wireless technologies
  2. Learn how to map each to your existing product needs
  3. Take home a decision making framework for IoT project success

With so many existing and emerging wireless technologies – 5G, eSIM /eUICC, and NB-IoT, one of the key decisions you need to make as an IoT product builder is – Which of these technologies are right for your current IoT initiatives? There are many (almost an overwhelming amount of) considerations – cost, coverage, bandwidth, impact on battery life, module availability, operational overhead and the list goes on. And you have many industry players steering you one way or another. This session will give you the guidance you need on how to prioritize these considerations and ultimately make a decision that will ensure a successful product lifecycle.
